Tapsilog

Beef Tapa:

1. Marinate thinly cut beef with 10 cloves minced garlic, 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 3 tbsp calamansi juice, 1/2 tsp MSG, and 2 tsp black pepper. Let the beef marinate in the fridge for 2 hours to overnight.
2. Heat a pan on medium heat and add 2 tbsp of neutral oil. Cook the beef in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
3. Cook for a few minutes on each side until the moisture has fully evaporated and the meat starts to caramelize and turn brown.

Garlic Fried Rice:

1. Heat 3 tbsp butter and 3 tbsp of neutral oil in a wok on medium low heat. Once the butter is frothy, add the 15 cloves minced garlic.
2. Once the garlic is golden brown, add the 4 cups day old rice and season with salt and MSG to taste.
3. Mix together for a few minutes and set aside.

Fried Eggs:

1. Heat 2 tbsp neutral oil on medium heat and fry your eggs.
2. Make sure the whites are fully set and the bottom is brown and crispy (cook for 4-5 minutes).
